Stolen Vehicle Tracking

Even though vehicles are better and better equipped with anti-theft protection, vehicle theft is still an important problem in Europe.

If the vehicle is equipped with a relevant unit, including location and communication capabilities, ARC Europe can provide Stolen Vehicle Tracking service.

The ARC Telematics Platform can interface with any type of stolen-vehicle-tracking-unit, one way or two ways. The information from the car unit will be made available to the ARC Europe alarm centre. If the car unit allows for, and if they are legally permitted, multiple functionalities can be actioned: sound horn, limit speed, prevent engine to re-start, etc.

Customers can activate the tracking of their stolen vehicle at any time by calling to the ARC Europe alarm centres. The police authorities will be notified following agreed processes.

Additional benefits can also be arranged in order to facilitate the life of the owner and user of the vehicle: like the repatriation of the vehicle to its owner or car dealership, the provision of a replacement car if necessary, the arrangements for accommodation or travel back home if needed, etc.
